- Being an Altar Server means serving God and his people at Mass. The Altar Server is called to serve God and his people by helping the priest and his fellow worshippers praise God. As an Altar Server you will act as a Liturgical Minister assisting Father Barbere with the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist. You will have specific duties during the Mass requiring you to learn some new concepts.
